While sitting in my beach chair I noticed this couple next to me, so casual just waiting for the sunset. The angles of her body, her elbow and casual posture leaning toward him back to the ocean to catch the last rays of sun. The viewpoint sitting on the beach the triangles of the ocean and the sand drew me in and the gentle casual intimacy of the beachgoers. Its simple but one of my favorite paintings.
