CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRY IN A GLASS WITH BLUE SHIRT -  FOLDED BLANK ART CARD Print of Original Oil Painting

This painting was my submission artist Lori Putnam’s art group challenge. During the glass challenge I created this still life set up. The idea was to practice how light fractures through glass and how to “SEE” the shapes. I made the chocolate strawberry, one of Isabel’s cordial crystal glasses and then used a t-shirt that belonged to my brother who passed in September. I wear his T-shirt while I paint. See the paint speckles. It was rough day for me but pouring my emotions into my painting always helps. May 2020.
