A place where the mountains fall into the sea. This beach and highway road holds some of my best memories - it's where I spent many days in my teens. Growing up in Santa Paula 12 miles inland, we all seemed gather to this beach, some surfed, and many friend’s families had cabins along the cove. We called this the Rincon even though it is actually Faria Beach. There is a surf break near here called Tanks, the train tracks to the right. So many memories. Right after my brother David passed away I went here and took a zillion photos of the sun just starting to lower in the sky. I’ve dreamt of painting this for many years. I hope it brings you joy.
