I started this as a plein air sketch and finished in the studio. This is a serene place in the Ojai Meadows especially in the late afternoon, as the sun sets and owls perched in the Eucalyptus call to one another. The glow on the Ojai mountains and Topas off to the Right make this a most magical forest.
